You’ll have a whale of a time at The Moby Dick Festival, this coming June bank holiday weekend. This festival celebrates the filming of Moby Dick in Youghal during the summer of 1954 and was selected as a finalist for Best Festival in 96fm best of Cork 2018.
There is always lots of activities over the weekend for the whole family to enjoy including, an amusement park, live music and market stalls. There is lots of opportunities to learn more about the filming of Moby Dick including an exhibition of photographs taken on the movie set. So why not visit Youghal this year from the 31st May to the 2nd of June, the kids certainly won’t be whaling.
