Leahy’s Open Farm
Leahy’s Open Farm are offering their fun filled and very popular Kid’s Summer Camp this year. Kids can try their hands at arts & crafts, orienteering, making chocolate lollipops, den building, zip lining, barrel train rides, grooming ponies and collecting eggs! Not only this but there is a newly added Ecology Workshop – allowing kids to learn about different animals and carry out a habitat study.

Fota Wildlife Park
Fota Wildlife Park‘s week-long camp offers safari trails, “animal” sports and movement and arts and crafts. The camps run from the 15th – 19th July and the 22nd -26th July only and limited places are still available.
Aside from being exciting, great fun and getting out into the great outdoors, Fota Wildlife Park Summer Camps have been developed with the aim of engendering a respect for the natural world. Each day of the camp has a different concept, varying from arts and crafts to movement, ecology and the environment, while a play approach to learning is a key element to ensuring that children enjoy themselves while attaining new skills and knowledge.
Through years of valuable experience and programme revision, the Education Department have carefully put together a selection of activities which address each participants’ requirements and interests. All the activities on offer are based around the theme of the natural world and cover a range of areas including nature studies and the physical sciences.
Summer camps details are as follows:

Fota Island Resort
This summer, Fota Island Resort have everything you need to ensure that your little ones have the most fun-filled break, with golf camps, tennis camps, adventure camps and much more taking place at the 5-star resort during the school holidays.
At Fota Island Resort this summer, keep the little ones entertained all day long at Camp Fota with an exciting range of activities including arts and crafts, soccer skills, spaghetti engineering, garden games, fairy trail and playground fun. Taking place Monday to Saturday from June 29th to August 30th, children can enjoy party games and movies while the adults enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet. Costing €20 a day for non-residents and including evening camps, there’s no end to the fun that can be had!
For young golfers, there will be two Golf Camps taking place throughout the summer holidays, with a focus on golf tuition and fun golf games. A great way to introduce kids to golf while also developing their skills and knowledge of the game, Fota Island Resort’s Golf Camp is the perfect option. Taking place from Monday 17th July to Wednesday 19th July and Wednesday 14th August to Friday 16th August from 10am-1pm, children can improve their skills, while any tennis fans can take part in one of the fun-filled tennis camps at Fota Island Resort in partnership with Munster Tennis. All players aged 7 to 13 are welcome to ace their serve and volley in the surrounds of The Munster Tennis Hub at Fota Island Resort, with three week-long tennis camps taking place Monday to Friday from the 8th July and running from 10am to 1pm each day. For children to seek adventure, Fota Island Adventure is the perfect option, with plenty of adrenaline inducing outdoor activities planned throughout the summer. With combat archery, orienteering, target practice and bush craft as well as a range of fun field based activities, camps will take place Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm for 9 consecutive weeks throughout the summer and will cost €150 per child per week. This year, a “Leave no Trace” ethos will be embedded throughout all activities, ensuring that the little ones leave with an extended knowledge of the benefits of Mother Nature.

Rumley’s Open Farm
Have a fun filled week at Rumley’s Open Farm this Summer with activities including: Feeding the animals, Animal grooming, Arts & Crafts, Tractor Rides, Petting Area, Treasure Hunts, Outdoor and Indoor Play Areas, Go Karting, Crazy Golf and Zipline, Organised Games and Activities.
The camp runs from the 1st to the 5th of July from 10am to 2.30pm and is available for children from ages 5-12 years old. Happy meals and drinks are included, and prices are €100 for the first child and €90 for the second child.

Perks Family Entertainment Centre
Perks will be hosting a one day Kid’s Camp as part of their ’90 Years of Glorious Fun’ Festival 2019. The camp runs for kids aged 4-8 from 12.30 – 4 pm and costs €14 per child. The day will include Play Centre, Bowling, Kids Rides, Disco, Arts & Crafts and Face Painting. Kids must bring their own lunch and pre booking is essential.

Ballymaloe Cookery School Camp
This day will start in the Ballymaloe Cookery School dairy where we help milk the cows.Then we go out to the farm to collect eggs and gather fruit and vegetables to bring back to the kitchen. The children will then start cooking recipes for a delicious lunch. After lunch we will feed the hens & pigs and end the day with biscuits & lemonade. The course is aimed at kids from 7 – 12 years of age and takes place on Monday 29th July from 9:30 am to approximately 3:00 pm, with a cost of €125. Read more here

Inch Hideaway
The Mucky Boots team are back at Inch Hideaway with their much loved Whats the Story Camp. Suitable for 6-12 year olds who enjoy the outdoors . This four day camp invites children to co create their own stories finding inspiration, crafts and games in nature.
